Cadillac Repair: high idle, throttle position sensor, cadillac seville

Question
QUESTION: I have a 94 Cadillac Seville sts.  The car sat all winter, this spring when I started it, the idle was high,  I replaced the throttle position sensor, the idle speed control motor, I did the relearn.  He plunger on the isc is not even touching the contact on the throttle body and it's still idling at 2-3000 rpm.  The throttle plate is all the way closed.  I'm stumped.

ANSWER: Fault could be
misadjusted TPS.
misadjusted IAC.
Carbon buildup on the IAC pintle seat.
Carbon buildup on the EGR pintle seat.

Do you know how to access the CODES from the computer to see if there are any History or Current codes ?.

QUESTION: There are no pcm codes, the only code is a traction code (s038).  Is the IAC and the ISC the same thing?  The plunger on the ISC is not even touching the throttle linkage when its idling high.  I've removed the throttle body and cleaned every thing I could,  I also turned down the screw that sets the minimum the throttle plate will close.

Answer
You should have NOT moved that set screw as it is factory set and if moved requires resetting the screw. The IAC and ISC are 2 seperate items. If you have an ISC motor you do NOT have and IAC motor.
