Cadillac Repair: 1991 cadillac eldorado A/C isnt working, r 12 freon, 134a freon

There was a freon leak in my eldorado and I fixed it. I refilled the freon, but the
computer still says low refrigerant and wont turn the compressor on. Whenever I
turn on the A/C it goes straight to "econ". Does the computer have a reset
button and need to be reset? or any other ideas on how to get my A/C running
again?

What kind of freon did you install ?. If your system uses R-12 freon and your installing R-134a this is your problem as the LOW PRESSURE SENSOR is not calibrated to recognize R-134a freon due to the pressure differences of the freon that is being used.
