Cadillac Repair: 93 Cadillac Fleetwood stalls, rich fuel mixture, throttle position sensor

Question
QUESTION: I was wondering if anyone could help with this situation, My Father-in-Law owns a 93 Fleetwood that up until about 3 weeks ago was running fine, now the car will idle fine for five minutes then do an idle hunt and finally stall, it will restart immediately and he can drive it without hesitation until he comes to a stop sign or traffic light then it will go though the same procedure and stall, it will restart immediately, also the service engine soon light comes on but goes off on a restart He has had to 3 mechanics and 1 dealership look at it, nobody has been able to fix it the history codes stored have been 125,128,133,143,145. here is a list of parts that have been replaced Oxygen sensor, idle control valve, throttle position sensor, plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, air filter, heat temp sensor, fuel pump, gas line filter ,computer ignition module. If you shed some light on this problem I would be grateful.

Thanks

ANSWER: There are no such codes that go this high (125,128,133,143,145). What we need to do is to recheck these codes using the CLIMATE CONTROL panel and watch to see if either the word HISTORY or CURRENT appears after each code.

Then we need to ERASE (CLEAR) all hese codes via the climate control panel ONLY so we can recheck for proper codes.

QUESTION: Thank you for the response I don't have the car in my possession right now but I'll try to clarify the codes. under the 00 pointer the code is 45 and under the 01 pointer the codes are 22,25,28,33,43,44 also under the 04 pointer is the code 72

Thanks again for your time

Answer
The 45 = A rich fuel mixture being sensed by the oxygen sensor.

22 =  delayed interior lights enable short to ground.
25 =  courtesy outlet short to ground or open circuit.
28 =  variable effort tracking error.
33 =  fuel enable short to ground or open circuit.
43 =  pass-key resistor short to battery or open circuit.
44 =  steering wheel short to ground or open circuit.

72 = serial data link fault.

This is going to take some time to test why all these circuits are having problems.
