what goes out the most on the bose gold speakers in driver door?  I put my hand over the speaker and feel a little sound but not like on passenger side even when a tape is put in same thing happens.. back speakers work fine but muffled. can I fix this myself?

Sure, You can fix it yourself. The fault is most likely a faulty speaker, BUT, Simple electrical tests need to be performed at the speaker.

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need a DIGITAL MULTIMETER, Simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
