Cadillac Repair: 2000 cadillac escalade, crank sensor, cadillac escalade

Question
QUESTION: Have a 2000 Escalade purchased recently, it wont start when its wet/raining, even if its just been sitting. I've replaced the plug wires, and the map sensor and still nothing. The previous owner apparently had the crank sensor replaced. Any ideas ?
thank you

ANSWER: Explain won't start.

Do you mean that when you try to start the engine, Nothing happens ?.

Or can you hear the engine cranking over but it just will not start ?.

Is your problem is that you are not getting any spark to the spark plugs or that your not getting any fuel to the engine ?.

Answer
I have yet to find a MAP sensor that fails due to dampness.

IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever illuminated while driving the vehicle and or has any other lights illuminated or any messages from the message display center ?.

What work or diagnostics of ANYKIND WHAT-SO-EVER have been performed on the vehicle trying to fix this problem ?.
