Cadillac Repair: 95 Cadillac Deville blower motor wont shut off, blower motor resistor, autoparts store

Question
I have a 1995 Cadillac Deville and when I shut the ignition off the blower motor starts back up and wont go off. I was told it might be the blower motor resistor and it would be located to the left of the blower and be held on by 3 screws I do not have one there it is just a plate held on by 3 screws no wires going to it and nothing inside under it. One autoparts store told me it has one but the dealership told me it don't. Also I can with the engine running shut it of by turning off the heat but starts right up after car is shut off. I also cannot control the fan speeds just one speed high. This all sounds like a resistor problem to me but I've removed dash and looked everywhere in engine compartment and under dash. I was also told it could be a module that may be built into the blower motor is this possible?
thanks

Answer
The fault could be the:

Blower motor, A/C programmer, Instrument panel cluster or an open wire.

The 95 does NOT have a BLOWER MODULE.

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture. I do not have a website so you will have to e-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com in order to obtain the information.
