Cadillac Repair: 1996 Deville Non start.., crank sensor, lock cylinder

Question
QUESTION: We have fuel pressure @ rail 40-50psi. Cranks good and will start using ether.. Codes found are Pcm codes 0107,0101,0603,1599. We replaced fuel pump originally and fuel filter too. We cleared the codes and  started over again, no luck. We were thinking Crank sensor? PCM?  Seems like no signal to pulse given to injectors. Test (light) does light up when key on at the (3) injectors that was tested. Help.........

ANSWER: Which codes are History and which codes are Current ?.

First CLEAR (erase) ALL the codes via the climate control panel and wait 2 minutes and try and start the car and then recheck for CODES and let me know which codes are HISTORY or CURRENT.

Again we cleared Pcm and it states no PCM codes..help.

Answer
What you have is a problem with the PASS-KEY theft system. What is happening is that the pass-key module is either faulty, There is a problem with the ignition key or you have a faulty wire from the ignition lock cylinder on the steering column that goes to the pass key module and what is happening is that this fault is causing the pass-key module to tell the PCM computer to shut off the fuel pump,

Thus, No fuel, No start.

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture. I do not have a website so you will have to e-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com in order to obtain the information.
