Cadillac Repair: 1999 deville wont start!!, cadillac deville, car wont start

QUESTION: I have a 1999 Cadillac Deville that at first all of the dash panel and radio would flicker then they would just quit working.Now my car wont start nothing comes up on the dash panel and radio does not come on.The intior lights do come on.Checked battery,checked all fuses.Please Help!!!

ANSWER: IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever illuminated while driving the vehicle and or has any other lights illuminated or any messages from the message display center ?.

What work or diagnostics of ANYKIND WHAT-SO-EVER have been performed on the vehicle trying to fix this problem ?.


When you try and start the engine do you hear NOTHING or does the engine crank over but just won't start ?.

QUESTION: We just bought the car in May the check engine light has never appeared,it doesn't try to crank over it is just dead!We changed battery,checked all the fuses,changed the negative wire to the battery.checked the grounds.

What we will need to do is jump the starter relay and see if we can get the car to crank over. Once we can establish that it will crank over then we can proceed to see why it won't start with the ignition key which is most likely caused by the PASS-KEY THEFT SYSTEM.

Do you have interior and exterior lights ?.

If you are mechanicaly inclined or know of someone who is, You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
