Cadillac Repair: 92 deVille stalls dead, than starts after cooled down, E53 code, code question, board diagnostics

Question
QUESTION: Hello,
my 92 DeVille Runs 1 to 4 miles than stalls. Have plenty of Gas, New Battery, new Rotor, Cap, ignition module installed within 24hrs. Once it stalls, it turns and wants to start but won't, until car sits for 45 minutes of so to cool down.
I am considering changing ignition coil but feel it may not be the problem.
The on board diagnostics states E53 code, distributer signal interruption.
Any idea what else could be the cause or reason.
I have not cleared the codes after installing the new rotor, cap and module.
Clearly something is cutting off the ignition once the engines is warm or hot, than when it cools down, it makes the ignition operable until it warms up again.
any suggestions or help please.

ANSWER: You stated: than when it cools down, it makes the ignition operable until it warms up again.

WHAT ????????

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: Basically it stalls after running for a mile or two. It will will not start until it has cooled down for about 45 minutes, after it has cooled down the engine will than start and run for a short time or a few short miles.

The engine turns and has plenty of fuel and battery power but it just won't start. It acts like it is out of gas. I have installed new Rotor, Dist-Cap, Ignition Module, and Coil.
I still get the E53 code and it dies after it reaches a certain temperature.
Any idea what are the possible causes for the distributor signal interruption?
Your help is very much appreciated.

ANSWER: While cranking the engine are you getting spark to the spark plugs ?.

How do you KNOW your getting fuel to the engine cylinders ?.

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: Hi,
I can only assume I am getting gas to the cylinders because it starts up after the engine is cooled down. Other than that I have no way of knowing so I am not sure.

As far as the spark, again I can only assume yes since it starts after it has cooled down for 45 minutes or so.

So I can only say the spark is there because it does start after it has cooled down.
With respect to the gas, I can only assume it is getting gas since it starts after it has cooled down for 45 minutes.
I am very puzzled and rattled by this problem with my car.

I will try to check for spark when it dies on me again, but it gets pretty darn hot down there to get that spark plug wire off.

I don't know exactly what, but something is cutting either the spark or the gas off after the engine warms up as I can see.

The code I get from the OBD is E53. I don't know why there is a circuit disruption to the distributor.

Answer
Did you try CLEARING (erasing ) this code from the computer to see if it returns as a HISTORY or CURRENT code ?.

Next time it quits try spraying a small amount of starting fluid in the air cleaner as see if it TRIES to start. This will tell you if you have a SPARK or FUEL problem.

And NEVER ASSUME ANYTHING.
