Cadillac Repair: battery drain?, shocks and struts, air shock

Question
Hello,  in the last 3 years i have had to put 3 new interstate batteries in my car ( they are a warranty) but i was wandering on a 92 cadillac if anything pops out to you that could be mysertiously draining the battery??  I am going to check the air pump for the air ride overnight, by putting a voice acitated tape recorder in the engine area, to see if i hear it going on and off.  Could you tell me where that might be located??       and on a seperate issue at what millage do shocks and struts normally need replaced on a car for ride quaility?   Many thanks   Marc of PA>

Answer
What part of PA are you from ?. I was originally from the Scranton area.

Shocks and struts depend upon how the car is driven and the terrain that the vehicle is driven on. There is no SET point at when to replace them.

What MODEL is the vehicle ?.

What you can do is unplug the air pump and in the morning see if the rear of the car is way down in the back. This will tell you that yu have an air leak in the air lines or a ruptured air shock/strut.
