Cadillac Repair: 97 DeVille DElegance, studebaker truck, cadillac dealer

Question
QUESTION: My Cadillac rode very well with the usual ride that a Cadillac should have. I had two broken rear springs replaced and now my car rides like a 47 Studebaker Truck. No codes show up. Could the mechanic that installed the springs have missed something on the installation. This seems to affect both the front and the rear of the car.

ANSWER: Could be the wrong springs. Take a look all around the area of where worked was performed and see if you see any loose wires.

QUESTION: The springs came from the Cadillac Dealer and I cannot see any wires loose or not connected. Is there somewhere else to check?

Answer
Are you getting any CHECK ENGINE light and or suspension system light illuminations on the dash or anything in the information center relating to a problem ?.

If NOT, I would have the springs rechecked to be sure thay are the same kind that came off as there is a tag on each spring with letters on them.
