I have a 1993 Cadillac STS and it won't start. I got a new starter and i installed it but it still won't start. the lights turn on everything goes as it's supposed to but i  don't even get a click when i turn the key. what should i do. what wrong. please help

Is or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light on the dash ever illuminated while driving the car ?.

Is the SECURITY light illuminated on the dash or some other light ?.

You could have a problem with the:

ignition key.

Ignition lock cylinder.

PASS-KEY module which prevents the car from starting if there is a fault in the security system.

A faulty starter relay.

Blown fuse.



You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
