Cadillac Repair: 1994 Cadillac Concours Wipers wont turn off, delay feature, two speeds

I am having a problem with my wipers.  They will come on, they just won't turn back off!  As I'm sure you know, this car has a feature that allows the wipers, etc. to remain on after the key is turned off, unless the door is opened. This is the only way to shut off my wipers...turn the key to the off position & open the door.  Once I restart the car, the wipers go to the normal position.  Also, the delay feature on the wipers isn't working...I have two speeds...not so fast & a little faster.  Thanks for your help!

You will need simple electrical schematics, Test procedures and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.
