QuestionQUESTION: I have a 93 cadillac El Dorado with 4.6 northstar motor, the car runs fine for about 10-15 minutes after that the car stalls, I try to start the car but I have not respond. When the car cool down around 20 minutes it will start again. I have changes already this:
fuel filter,fuel pump,fuel pressure regulator,cleaning out the whole fuel injection system,2 map sensors,2 crank sensors,throttle body switch,cleaning the plenum,ignition module,and the car computer. The only part I need to change is the cam sensor after that I am ready to give up. Maybe you can help me with some ideas to fix it. thank you for you time .
ANSWER: When you try and restart the engine which are you not getting ?. Fuel to the engine OR spark to the spark plugs ?.
IS or HAS the check engine light ever illuminated on the dash prior to this problem ?.

AnswerIf you have a digital speedometer.
1. Turn the ignition key to the ON position. do NOT start the engine.
2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER (^) buttons on your climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.
3. On your fuel data display you will see a combination of LETTERS & NUMBERS (code) along with the word HISTORY or CURRENT for each code that displays.
4. the display will stop at PCM?
5. Tell me everything you see on the fuel data display.
6. Turn ignition OFF.
