Answer
Hi Sarah,

Personally I don't know of any shops in your area to recommend because I live in Illinois. However if you went to a Cadillac dealer they should have a tech there that should be able to do the job. You could google the iatn.com website which is a professional mechanics site and on it you can search for shops that have ASE certified mechanics and phoneing them see if they could do that type repair. Cars.com is another source. From the main page click on shopping advise at the top. Then on the next screen just below shopping advice you will see find a good mechanic. Those recomondations are supposed to be from people such as youself that have used that shop and will rate it. Otherwise ask people you know where they take their car. There are alot of good techs out there its just finding them that don't feel intimidated by working with the Cadillac electrical system and that make good repairs.

The other thing you could do is go to alldata.com and get a shop manual subscription for your car. If you are mechanically inclined you could look at the wireing diagrams and repair the wireing yourself. It might need new connectors with short wires attached which you could get possably from the dealer or from a junkyard. Then remove the wires with a special wire removeal tool that is available at bigger auto parts stores that you need to repair because it was damaged. But work with only 1 wire at a time so you don't get them mixed up or the computor can be damaged.

      Hopefully I have helped. Bill
