my car stops while driving or idling pcm code current comes up 1336 then reset codes then 1336 disappear then 0336 some say crank sensor i think bad gas whats you opinion

Hi Debbie,

      Early on in the '00 model year they had a campaign to replace both crankshaft sensors for just that reason...the engine would quit unexpectedly. I don't have a shop manual at home that tells what the code is but if it does refer to the crankshaft sensor then I would replace them both and your problem should be solved. When I get to work on monday I will check on the P1336 and if something else turns up then I will e-mail you back before bedtime monday otherwise my original advise will apply. Thanks, Bill
