QuestionNeed help in reading DTC’s on 94 Fleetwood Brougham.
This all started because the AC blower remained on after ignition was turned off and the keys removed.( a day later blower fan quit running altogether as well as the electric cooling fans, other than that the car runs fine.)
When I enter the on board diagnostics (after segment check) this appears “-00”.
I can go temp up from -00 to 39 or 40 then back to -00 again.
When I’m on each of those numbers I press “outside temp” and get “00” or a 1 to three digit code.
It came up with 28 codes that start with pointer -05 thru 38.
-05=19,-07=105/107,-08=168/169,-13=6/7,-16=115,-17=128,-18=116,-19=129
-20=155,-21=129,-22=113,-23=60,-24=87,-25=154,-26=113,-27=01,-28=93
-29=26,-30=86,-31=79,-34=128,-35=128,-36=26,-37=50,-38=04

AnswerIf this is the rear wheel drive with the 5.7L engine, You cannot use the OFF and WARMER buttons on the climate control panel to obtain the codes.
You have to use a scanner plugged into the underdash diagnostic connector or jumper the 2 pins together within the connector and count the check engine light flashes.
MY MISTAKE. Thinking about a diffeent vehicle.
The ONLY parameters we are interested in are -00 thru -04.
When you see -00 what appears ?.
