QuestionQUESTION: i JUST GOT A 1995 CADILAC SEDAN DEVILLE WHEN i START THE CAR THE DIGITAL DASH SAYS SERVICE ENGINE SOON i CAN RESET IT AND IT STAYS OFF BUT IF I DON'T RESET IT STAYS ON I CHECKED ALL FLUIDS AND EVERYTHING IS FULL THE OIL STILL HAS 59% LIFE LEFT. WHAT CAN BE MAKEING THIS FAULT COME UP?

ANSWER: You have to retrieve the CODES from the computer.
1. Turn ignition switch ON. Do NOT start the engine.
2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons on the climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.
On the fuel data screen you will see LETTERS & NUMBERS appear along with the word HISTORY or CURRENT.
The display will stop and display PCM?.
Tell me what codes you get and if they are CURRENT or HISTORY .
Turn OFF ignition switch.

AnswerP019 = shorted fuel pump circuit.
A013 = IN-Car temp circuit problem.
