Question
QUESTION: i changed the ignition (where the key goes) the car still will not start.  Someone told me about the ignition switch in the middle console is this true i really need help don't know what to do.

ANSWER: There is a small chip on the key that has a certain resistance value to it. You need to obtain a new key that has the identical resistance reading as your old key and get the key cut to the ignition switch key that came with the new cylinder.

Answer
When you replaced the key cylinder, Did you connect the wire from the cylinder to the wire under the dash ?.  If you DID,  You will need, If necessary, Electrical schematics and picture locations of the components within the system that is causing you problems of which can't be done on this website which only allows one picture.  I do not have a website so you will have to e-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com in order to obtain the information.
