Cadillac Repair: A/C problem, pressure relief valve, vacuum pump

Question
I have a 1995 cadilac deville concours 4.9 v8, the a/c compressor was found with dye penetrant to be leaking at the case.  I have replaced the compressor, replaced orifice tube, replaced dryer; also used vacuum pump to remove air and moisture. Jumpered the compressor to allow to accept freon with the oil additive, and the first can empties fine, starts blowing cool but not cold air, then before the second can is emptied the over pressure relief valve on the compressor opens and relieves pressure.
Can you help?
Thanks in advance

Answer
What are the HIGH and LOW pressures reading on your AC gages ?.

Are you POSITIVE you did NOT install the orifice tube in BACKWARDS ?.

The compressor needs to cycle ON and OFF. So put in a can of freon and shut down the compressor for a few minutes, then start the compressor and install another can of freon and do this until the system is full and the pressures are within specs.
