Can both heads be replaced/repaired without removing the engine?


Answer
NO. Because you have to drill out the original bolt holes in the engine block and rethread them before re-installing the replacement heads as the engine bolt holes stripped out and or stretched the threads in the engine block which caused the cylinder heads to become loose thus causing the headgasket failure.
