Cadillac Repair: 1987 seville digital dash, info center, climate control BLACK, power antenna, climate control

Question
I recently purchased a 1987 seville from an estate, the car has been sitting over 8 years. Upon starting I noticed the instrument cluster was VERY dim, radio was flickering, information center and climate control was black, engine control system light was on, and the cooling fan was running. The car ran well, so I drove it home. On the way the radio started working, the dash would light up ocassionaly, but never did see the info center, or the climate controll light up. I cleaned all the grounds I could find (several)I checked all the fuses, all O.K. except for the power antenna that is missing. Now upon initial start up the dash lights up, the radio plays, the engine control light is out, the interior fan comes on,(but the info center or the climate control never do illuminate) then after about 30 seconds no dash lights, no heater fan, the engine control light comes back on. But the radio continues to play. If I rev up the engine the engine control light goes on and off, and I hear a clicking by the passenger sde under the glove box, then after a few seconds that clicking stops also. And if it matters, there are no interior lights when I open the door

Answer
If you have a DIGITAL dash and not the old style needle speedometer, I would say that your fault is most likely within the CLIMATE CONTROL PANEL where you set your heat and AC. Access the wiring behind the climate control center and unplug it and see if your lights come back ON. If they DO, replace the climate control center.
