We just purchased this car and the battery was dead, after it was fully charged the chime goes on steady. non stop..tried resetting the computer from instructions in book, did not work, also automatic trunk close won't work...any help would be great...

FIRST, make sure everything else works and check ALL your fuses.

The chime could be caused by a faulty ignition switch, A faulty door switch or a faulty chime module. You will need several electrical schematics to test these areas of fault so you need to e-mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com

As for the trunk won't close, replace the TRUNK PULL DOWN UNIT.
