Installed a aftermarket radio in my 87 cadillac deville and now the digital dash will not come on.

Answer
That is because you wired the aftermarket radio incorrectly. The original radio has inputs and outputs of 3 different voltages being 5 volts, 12 volts and 16 volts.

Take it to a radio installation facility to have it wired correctly and if you are LUCKY you did not burn out one of the computers or the complete dash assembly.
