Cadillac Repair: 1991 Caddilac Seville 4.9 liter, onboard diagnostics, engine control module

Question
When i run onboard diagnostics i get  ECM? does that mean my engine control module is bad.I also get EO41 i have replaced the whole distributar rotar and cap still get EO41 and ECM?The car still runs very rough please help me iam lost

When you ONLY see ECM? this is just telling you that you are at the END of the diagnostics of accessing the computer for fault codes. There is NOTHING wrong.

However the code E041, After you replaced the distributor did you ERASE the code via the Climate control panel ?
