i have a 93 caddi eldorado i want to know how do i put in a new ignition switch

Are you referring to the LOCK CYLINDER on the steering column where the ignition key goes or the electrical portion of the ignition switch mounted under the dash on the steering column.

If your referring to the lock cylinder it requires special tools to:

1. Pull the steering wheel off.

2. To remove the lock plate under the steering wheel to access the lock cylinder..
