Cadillac Repair: 2007 CTS Sometimes starts, sometimes nothing, says Starter Disabled, faulty component, computer issue

Overall, it starts--eventually after nothing with the turn of the key a few times, and other times starts no problem.  Had OnStar do a diagnosis and all systems were okay.  So not a computer issue I guess.  What do you think it is (2007 CTS <4 months new).  I did put a performance dual exhaust on it, and the vibes at first until we added the resonators may have jarred something loose (?).  Thanks.

Yu have a problem with either the:

ignition key.
ignition column lock cylinder.
broken wire inside the steering column.
faulty PASS-KEY module.
