Cadillac Repair: leaking water on passenger floorboard, leaky hose, water drainage

Question
I know, I know. Heater core you'll say!! BUT!! Just had it replaced and everything flushed 2 mos. ago. Heat works fine and STILL does, no fogging of windows. The floorboard is soaked...NOT the incline toward the dashboard. When I tried to towel dry, when I rub, it gets kinda sudsy & oily on my fingers BUT it is NOT sweet like antifreeze! (I licked my hand.)Hard to tell if it's green on towel as it's just dirty.I'm thinking if it IS a leaky hose, why wouldn't the incline toward the glove box be wet too?? How can I determine if it's a hose? (or maybe it's just a water bottle that busted). Gonna watch it for a few days,  hopefully it'll dry but if not, then that's indicative of heater core leakage, right? Is there an easy test to determine if it's the core, hose, etc.? Thanx so much!!

Answer
Does the water taste like anti-freeze and have a sweet smell to it ?.

If you have been running the AC are you getting the normal water drainage from the drain hose from the evaporator. Do you have a normal evaporator water puddle slowly dripping under the car when the AC is ON ?.

Your SURE someone did NOT have an accident on your floor ?.

Let me know.
