Cadillac Repair: 1990 cadillac fleetwood. 4.5L,4dr.fwd, 1990 cadillac fleetwood, crankshaft pulley

I was wondering if you happen to know the route of the serpentine belt. I am installing a new belt, and I have no clue as to how it goes on?

Hi Christopher,

         Yes I do. However they ususally put a picture under the hood on the plastic panel on top of the radiator. But if not this is how it goes.

        Place the belt under the crankshaft pulley and going counter clockwise it is AIR pump, A/C compressor, P/S. Then going clockwise from the crankshaft to the idler, alternator and then move the tensioner and slip it under that pulley.
