Cadillac Repair: heater blower, mom and dad, heater blower

My mom and dad have a 1991 caldillac seville. When they turn the engine off, the heater blower will not turn off. My Dad has to disconnect the wire in the engine to get it to turn off. Mom said she smelled a funny burning smell the other day when it was working properly, then, when she went to turn the heater off- it wouldn't turn off. Thanks for your time!

You need to replace the POWER MODULE and the BLOWER MOTOR as the blower motor starts to wear out the internal brushes and starts to draw to much current from the power module and pops the internal transistors. If you would like pictures, E-mail: cadillactech@hush.ai
