Does the 97 deville have a reset button for the automatic leveling system ? And if not is there any way to keep the rear from bottoming out?

The ELC system is only designed to level the rear of the car when a temporary load is in the car (extra passengers or luggage etc.) If the system is not working in those cases, you'll need to troubleshoot it. If the problem is that the car sits low without the extra weight in the car, the problem is worn coil springs.
