how do i remove the seat mounted airbags from my 2001 deville? i am putting the seats into another vehicle and i want to remove the airbags

Therefore I am going to recommend that you subscribe to alldata.com for your year and model so you can read the exact steps to follow to safely remove and dispose of the airbag. Otherwise try ebay, amazon.com or the dealer for a Cadillac shop manual that will give the steps. All the other manuals like Motor, Chilton and Haynes etc. are just too generic to cover the correct steps.
