Cadillac Repair: 1993 caddy, engine cooling fans, cadillac sts

QUESTION: I have a 1993 caddy and the dash lights went out on it the fans don't work can't get no codes cuz the dash nothin works the tack nothin it runs though but the tranny will not shift out of 1st gear what is wrong with it.and none of the heater works.please help me thank you.

Andy,
First thing to check is battery cable and engine, chassis and body grounds. Those cars are well-known for these to be either loose or corroded. Beyond that, check the Maxi fuses (as well as the regular fuses. But the Maxi's will cover more broad power distribution.
