Cadillac Repair: message center, needle in a haystack, mechanic shop

I have an 02 escalade and the service stabilitrac light is on in the message center. A small mechanic shop told me it had something to do with the abs wiring. What can i look for to help fix it?

Hi Chris,

      What needs to happen is the computer needs to be scanned for codes and then knowing what code(s) are stored could lead to the fix. It very well could be a harness problem but sometimes they aren't in places that are easily seen. I suppose you could safely support the Escalade on ramps or jackstands and then look at each wheel speed sensor harness and make sure it isn't cut or unplugged. Other than that its kind of like looking for a needle in a haystack unless you know what code turned on the light. Sorry I can't be anymore help than that. Bill
