Cadillac Repair: 1994 cad seville, steering column, electrical outlet

the single switch broke in half my bright lights are stuck on
other wise everything else still works singles and window washer I need this fixed before I take it in I would like to know if the whole steering column has to be change and is this a really expensive job Thanks

What you have to do is find the small black wire under the dash that goes up to the broken handle and tie a string around it and pull the wire at the broken handle so the string follows it up thru the column so when you get your new arm you can pul the new wire back down thru the steering column.

As for the broken handle it just pulls out of a socket like an electrical outlet and plugs the new one right back in. If you need picture directives, E:mail: onlineautohelp@msn.com
