Cadillac Repair: charging on sls, auto supply stores, regulator problem

I have a 1994 sls the "battery no charge indicator" comes on and the system does't charge, it does this periodically is there a regulator problem?

Answer
Could be a regulator or a problem with the computer of which controls the regulator.

IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever illuminated on the dash and if so what CODES are you getting.

Most auto supply stores will test your charging system for FREE.
