Cadillac Repair: NO START, starter relay, lock cylinder

Question
I HAVE A 1992 CADDY DEVILLE 4.9 THAT WONT START. TURN THE KEY NOTHING, JUMP THE STARTER AND IT TURN BUT WONT START. PLEASE HELP. KEEP HEARING A CLICKING IN THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT.

Answer
That clicking noise is the starter relay engaging. You problem lies with one of the below items:

ignition key.

ignition lock cylinder where the key goes in the steering column.

faulty PASS-KEY MODULE which is part of your anti-theft system.

faulty starter relay.
