my caddillac shifts hard and my engin light keeps coming on . it stalls at randome points and it takes me about 3-4 time  of cranking it over to get it started. i lose 3-5 gear sometimes and 2-3 too i can't figure out the problem can you help me

Perform this test using your climate control panel:

1. Ignition ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER (^) buttons for 3 seconds and release them.

3. CODES in the form of LETTERS & NUMBERS will appear and the display will stop either PCM? or .7.0

4. Also you will see the word HISTORY or CURRENT as EACH code displays, Tell me EXACTLY what displays in the EXACT order in which they display as if you were video-taping the display.

5. Turn ignition OFF.
