Cadillac Repair: 2000 STS Parking Brake, solenoid, linkage

2000 STS Parking Brake wont release and goes to stop. Hear solenoid ok and can manually release with yellow lever and pulling up on pedal.

Any E-brake release has two main components; the release actuator (vacuum or electric), and the linkage that connects it to the E-brake pedal assembly. If the actuator is working but the pedal is not releasing, check to see that the linkage is in place.
