QUESTION: I have a 1988 cadillac deville v-8. when I am driving it and have to stop for a stop light, for example,it starts running real rough. If I shut it off and restart the engine it runs fine again or if I just let it keep running it will pop? and start running fine again. Do you have any idea what could cause this? Thanks Ron

ANSWER: IS or HAS the CHECK ENGINE light ever appeared on the dash while driving the vehicle ?

Perform this procedure:

1. Ignition ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER buttons on the climate control panel for 3 seconds and release them.

3. Codes in the form of LETTERS and NUMBERS will appear and will stop at .7.0

4. I need to know EXACTLY what displays in the EXACT order in which they display as if you were video taping it.
