My service electrical light has come on in my cadillac along with emission and service engine soon lights all comes on can you help me solve these problems..

Hi Bobby,

      First off what you need to do is get the codes read and then post what they are and we can go from there. To do that you would need to go to your mechanic, a parts store like AutoZone that will read the codes for free, Buy a scan tool yourself and read the codes especially if you intend to do the repairs yourself or go into onboard diagnostics by pressing the off and warmer buttons on the climate control panel with the key on or the engine running. To navigate you press the low fan button for no and the hi fan button for yes. To exit diagnostics you would just turn the key off.

     If you don't have a good shop manual for your Deville you can go to AllData.com or Autozone.com and subscribe to the shop manual for your year and model caddy. That way you will have all the diagnostic info available at your computor that can be printed out and taken to the car. Also service bulletins are available.

     Should you need more help let me know what you find out for codes and we'll go from there. Bill
