Cadillac Repair: 1998 Cadillac Deville Concour, change engine oil, trip odometer

Just purchased a 1998 Cadillac Deville Concour....  The display center flashes "headlamp suggested" during the day, it also flashes an "Airbag" and "change engine oil"  messgage.

How do I reset these messages? The engine oil has been changed and I'll take the risk if the airbag is not working.

When I press the "info" button on the console it allows me to reset the trip odometer but nothing eles.

Any web sites for manuals or the answers to the above questions would be appreciated.

If the twilight switch on the dash is turned OFF, You have to manually turn ON the headlamps. Also make sure that there are no paperrs or junk on the dash pad as it blocks the headlamp sensor.

On the oil message:

Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position wiyhout starting the car:

1. Press the TRIP button until you see OIL LIFE REMAINING.

2. Pressnd HOLD the RESET button for more than 5 seconds until you see the oil life index change and displays 100% and release the button.
