Cadillac Repair: Dual A/C one not working, diagnostic scanner, seperate controls

QUESTION: 99 Eldarado. There is a dual A/C (passenger/driver sides)seperate controls. With AC on the passenger side blows cold air while the driver side emits hot air. Heater works on both sides. I imagine it's electronics. There isn't some mechanism (open/close door)that wouldn't be operating
properly?? even though the electronic switch is OK.

There are 2 damper doors and seperate actuators for the drivers and passengers side and most likely the one on the drivers side is faulty and you will need a diagnostic scanner that can over-ride the drivers actuator to test it. You have to remove half the dash panel to access the actuators.
