i replaced a evaporate core  on my 2000 deville. the car was running when i did this. but know the car  will not start after i put it back together my dash comes on but i can not turn the radio,heat,air,interi ligts, or let the windows up.  2000 cadillac deville 4.9l

        Whenever electrical parts are replaced it is a very good idea to make sure the key is in the off position and sometimes the battery needs to be disconnected. Otherwise you could damage a part or module to the point that it needs to be replaced.

        What I would do is start by checking all the fuses to make sure that none are open.  Then recheck for any connectors or ground wires that you took off/apart to make sure they are ok.

        If you don't find anything obvious then you will need to have it towed to your mechanic and have them do a diagnostic to see where the problem is.

        It is best not to do some jobs no matter how much money you think you might save because of problems like this. If you don't have a good shop manual and want to check this out further go to alldata.com and subscribe to the shop manual for your car.
