Cadillac Repair: 96 sls cant clear codes, fuel gauge, computer modules

after unpugging the cd changer i'm getting a ir2255 code and are unable to remove it? this also caused the a/c, windows,fuel gauge,inside lights and a few other things to stop working...any help is appreciated..Thanks..Hue

You have a loss of SERIAL data. WHY did you unplug it ?. Did you replace it ?. It MUST be installed in the circuitry of the computer system as it receives and transmits signals to other computer modules.

Do you know HOW to clear the code after you replaced or re-installed the cd changer ?.
