Cadillac Repair: 1996 stalling, throttle plate, air intake

this is in response to your qurey 1. fuel pump running when turning on ing switch. 2. cleared all codes per your direction. recheck and no codes drove it for a few miles recheck no codes?

OK, If you still have this stalling problem when your foot is OFF the gas pedal, remove the air intake hoses to gain access to the throttle plate area and look for a blackish residue build-up on both side of the throttle plate and surrounding air intake bore and clean it thoroughly and see if this fixes your problem.
