Cadillac Repair: brake problems, rear rotors, brake rotors

Question
my 1995 Seville brake pedal makes a rattle tapping noise i come to a complete stop does not make any noise when i slow down only mph or below and there is pulsation in the pedal all pads and shoes drums and rotor are in good shape   thank you

Answer
Hi Jeremy,

If the brake pedal pusates when stopping drive the same speed and put on the parking brake and see if it still makes noise and pulsates. If the problem goes away then the front brake rotors need to be machined or replaced. If it still does it in the rear then start by replaceing the rear rotors and if the pads are 50% or more worn then replace them also and then see how the regular brake pedal feels. You may need front and rear brake rotors machined or replaced to get rid of the noise. Bill
