Cadillac Repair: Trouble codes 1988 cadillac deville, torque converter clutch, torque converter clutch solenoid

Question
I was told to Turn ON the ignition switch, Engine OFF, Simultaneously push the OFF and WARMER buttons on your climate control panel and tell me everything that displays until it stops at .7.0 then turn the ignition switch OFF.

The codes are E, E39 & E52. Do you know what this means?

E is just telling you that it is in the diagnostic mode.

E39 is telling you that you have a TRANSMISSION TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SOLENOID fault.

E52 is telling you that the battery was disconnected in the past.

Re-display the codes and see if any of the codes also display as EE codes as well as E codes.
