I am here to ask about the fuel system. everytime I try to crank my 97cadillac deville it says service fuel system. what should I do? I have a northstar V8 engine

What you need to do is check your computers for CODES via:

1. Ignition ON. Engine OFF.

2. Simultaneously push and hold the OFF and WARMER (^) (fan up) on the display for 3 seconds and release the buttons.

3. On the fuel data display you will see CODES in the form of LETTERS and NUMBERS along with the word CURRENT or HISTORY for each code that displays.

4. Write down EXACTLY what you see on the display in the EXACT order in which it displays and the display will stop at PCM?

5. Turn OFF ignition.

6. Tell me what you get.
