Cadillac Repair: catera 2000 check engine light abs tc, diagnostic scanner, catera

my 2000 catera is running fine except for a recent showing of check engine. then it goes off, then the ABS TC lite comes on and i loose the speedometer and cruise, then sometimes the lights go out and the speedometer comes on and the cruise works then it goed dead.  what the heck, I cannot afford these defective electronics, can I drive the car since it is running good, i just drobe 800 miles with the lights going on and off, is there any reset or something? I have a new battery and all else is find./I am in redding cal, 80,000 miles, this sucks.

The first thing you need to do is have someone with a diagnostic scanner retrieve the CODES from the computer and then CLEAR (erase) ALL the codes, Drive the car and recheck for codes after the problem re-occurs and let me know WHAT codes you get and if the codes are HISTORY or CURRENT codes.
